FTSE near 3-month low as US worries offset results

(Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 share index fell on Thursday as stocks struggled to shake off worries over a potential U.S. credit crunch even as oil majors rallied on rising crude and upbeat results from Royal Dutch Shell.

The FTSE was down 0.2 percent at 6,443.5 at 0913 GMT hovering near 3-month lows.
