FTSE 100 Retreats, Paced by Mitchells & Butlers, Cadbury, British Airways

(Bloomberg) -- U.K. stocks fell, paced by Mitchells &
Butlers Plc, Cadbury Schweppes Plc and British Airways Plc.

The benchmark FTSE 100 Index lost 21.7, or 0.3 percent, to
6586.2 in London at 8:09 a.m. The FTSE All-Share Index fell
10.87, or 0.3 percent, to 3393.27. Ireland's ISEQ Index rose
13.35 to 9319.60.
