(Reuters) - European shares were seen lower as well with financial bookmakers expecting opening losses of 15 to 20 points for London's FTSE 100 share index , 41 to 61 points for Germany's DAX and 26 to 40 points for France's CAC 40 .
Oil slid below $71 a barrel amid swelling U.S. inventories and hopes that Nigerian exports could rise, while spot gold found a steadier footing near $650 an ounce after recent declines.
