U.K. Benchmark Drops, Paced by BAE Systems and Cadbury Schweppes Shares

(Bloomberg) -- U.K. stocks fell. BAE Systems Plc,
Europe's biggest weapons maker, headed for its steepest drop in 4
1/2 years after saying the U.S. started a probe into the
company's compliance with anti-corruption laws.

The benchmark FTSE 100 Index lost 32.6, or 0.5 percent, to
6555.80 as of 8:39 a.m. The FTSE All-Share Index fell 18.09, or
0.5 percent, to 3380.29. Ireland's ISEQ Index slipped 30.61, or
0.3 percent, to 9354.
